Health And wellness
teachers should be able to practice what they preach. We must be able to teach
people how to look into their minds and clear out the bad or rambling thoughts
in order to make room for the inner peace that they seek. If you are psychologically
unsound people will be leery about following your direction, because having a
balanced system means being free from your own mind of mental disturbances.
Spiritually you have to know what you believe. There are
many different gods people can chose from to worship and it's up to us to chose
what wisely fits us. Many religions offer a meditative pray that can help many
people. Physically we must take care of ourselves in order to get a full
balance of health and wellness, in many cases you can't have one without the
other. Honestly I need to work on all 3 sections of mine. I feel I have no
balance, I can't shut off the negative thoughts that cross my brain, I have no
true spirituality and physical I am out of shape and sick.
In my physical health I would like to be more active. I
feel right now I have so much going on I can hardly find time for this. I'm not
talking about going to the gym and working out four house a day, but just
getting outside running around with the kids, working in the yard. Psychologically
I have to clear my mind of the negativity that is there. This can be ridding
myself and life of the things that cause this. I can only grow psychological if
I don't have things pulling me an my thoughts back. Spiritually I need to find
something to believe in. There's really nothing more than that. Religion can be
an uncomfortable area for any people and in my case, being burned by so many so
called Christians have ruined religion for me.
Practice,
practice, practice! Study, study, study! Research is important in to finding
ways to grow each domain of health. Mediation and prayer can help grow
psychologically and spiritually. These will open my mind to great mental
health, clearing out the clutters of my mind making room for the positive energy
needed. Physically, getting up and moving around, eating healthier are two main
important parts of the health in general. How you treat your body is important
to open up the rest of the healing path.
My problem is sticking with something once I start it. If
I can manage to stay with a program that I start the better I will be in six
months. Building a program from the ground up, making sure I stick to a routine
will help me monitor how all three areas of my health are when I start at
different stage of my training and practice. During the course if this class I
have become found of meditation. I had done it before but sporadically. Since I
had to do it on a regular bases it has help. With everything going on in my
life meditation has been the my sanity. I have put apps on my phone that gives
me instructional meditation sessions.
